I NEED A LIGHTHOUSE is a nonprofit depression and suicide education awareness program I founded after the July 25,2001 suicide of my 21 year old son, Jake.I had a career in education so I I went to what I knew best-education of youth- to help me survive this life tragedy.From this I have founded both a organization and a supporting coalition of key people in our community to support my efforts.Specialties: As a former educator, I believe my best skills are organization, articulation of information, and a genuine respect of our youth.I have taken those skills to enhance the development of INAL as well as to go out into the community to educate people on the topic of depression and suicide.
