About Kathryn Wig
I have been in operations, support, or administrative positions throughout my career. I have worked in the financial services, energy, and manufacturing industries where my roles have ranged from executive support (think "special projects") to technician to analyst to specialist, including a focus on regulatory compliance. My experience includes contract management, financial analysis, and legal filings/submissions, as well as general office administration.I am detail-oriented and tenacious -- and can be relied upon to complete any task. My MS Office skills are strong, especially with Word and Excel, and I appreciate learning new features/functions of the software. I enjoy learning new applications, and ask many questions while doing so in order to understand how the program works so that I can perform the required task appropriately. I have worked closely with many levels of personnel: presidents/CEOs, general counsels, managers, directors, and other leaders as well as the people on the "front line" such as welders/laborers, customer service representatives, programmers, and project managers ... all with the courtesy and respect for the importance each person brings to his/her job.Outside of my "official" work roles I have developed project management skills. For example, for seven years at NRG Energy I was the coordinator of the company’s “Travel Team” for the BP MS 150 cycling event in Texas; please see the “Travel Team Coordinator” entry in the Volunteers section of this profile for details. Also, my husband and I have completed renovations of our home; specifically the bathrooms and kitchen where we “tore the rooms down to the studs” and installed new fixtures, cabinets, etc.; and converted a screened-in porch to a sunroom -- all completed while I was working full-time.
Listed skills include Energy, Contract Negotiation, Renewable Energy, Mergers And Acquisitions, and 12 others.
