I am a trained biologist specializing in molecular biology, cell biology, protein chemistry, and molecular biotechnology. Over the past 13 years, I have focused on enzyme engineering. Since 2020, I have been part of the innovative team at Aminoverse, dedicated to solving enzyme challenges using advanced AI technology. In my role, I oversee comprehensive CRO enzyme development projects—from initial discovery and feasibility studies to engineering, profiling, and production for our esteemed partners.Recently, I have expanded my focus to include quality management and process optimization, ensuring the highest standards in our operations. Since 2020, I also serve as a Biological Safety Officer (Biologische Veiligheidsfunctionaris, BVF), overseeing the implementation and adherence to biological safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment in the laboratory.With my scientific expertise in Enzyme Engineering, I aim to make a significant impact through innovative technologies. My objective is to promote more sustainable production practices across industries such as food processing, bioenergy, and chemical processing. By optimizing biocatalytic processes, I strive to advance medical breakthroughs, enabling the development of new therapies and diagnostic tests. Moreover, I am committed to fostering innovative solutions across various sectors—from environmental technology to pharmaceuticals—to address global challenges and shape a sustainable future.
