Katia designs and creates experiences that bring forth humanity's greatness and her fundamental purpose in life is to leave this world better than we can imagine. Katia is an impact innovator with twelve years of professional experience focused on design and communications; directly involved in creating and starting conscious high-impact endeavours. She has expertise in Innovation, Advertising, Branding, Digital Media, Social Media, Web Design, Communications, Strategy and Execution; both in the digital and analog worlds. Katia co-created Programa Valentina, together with her husband Alejandro, Jessica Hammer and FUNSEPA, to help solve unemployment and underemployment for at risk populations, particularly women, and is in the process of creating a truly INCLUSIVE hiring algorithm for LATAM. Katia has been actively involved in endeavours such as SHEVA, an initiative focused on empowering women and girls in Guatemala with access to information through mobile technology. During her time as Senior Art Director at NYC-based sustainability communications agency - Greenteam Global, Katia was involved in projects with clients such as Johnson&Johnson, VisitScotland, Recyclebank, LAN Airlines and Rainforest Alliance. Katia is passionately excited about family, impact, gastronomy, art, traveling, and meeting extraordinary humans.
