The Dartford Crossing is a vital regional and national transport link. Delays are occurring at the crossing for many hours each day, with heavy congestion at peak times. The DFFC Project seeks to reduce existing levels of congestion at the Crossing by replacing the existing toll plaza with electronic free-flow charging arrangements which uses technology to collect and enforce charges and removes the need for drivers to stop to pay the charge.• Assist the WS3 Project Manager and Technology Manager to develop the methodolofy for the required changes to the South Bound plaza in advance of implementation of Construction Phase 2 and coordinate safe delivery on the group with the supply chain• Provide support to the Service Delivery team by acting as the link between the contractors and the operational teams• Generate (or coordinate the generation of) reports and technical documents including the reviewing of the same from the Service Delivery team, subconsultants and contractor and report to the projects and construction manager so that decisions can be made appropriately• Take on a deliver end to end technical and operational tasks to the guidance of the respective managers
