E. Katia Moritz, Ph.D., ABPP is a licensed psychologist in the States of Florida, Utah, New York and Rio de Janerio, Brazil. She is a member of the Scientific/Clinical Advisory Board and the Diversity Council for International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation, and she is on the advisory board of HAAPE (Helping Adults with Autism Perform and Excel). She is the author of “Working with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in Children” (Audio and Video Training Program), “Forms for Helping Children with OCD”, and “Blink, Blink, Clop, Clop: An OCD Story Book” – English and Spanish versions. Dr. Moritz and the NBI team provide treatment for Portuguese, Spanish, and English speaking children, adolescents and adults in their native language, in the framework of their cultural backgrounds. She also consults for many international families and other clinicians and travels around the globe supervising and training professionals. Her work involves parent training, family interventions, individual and group therapies, supervising clinicians and postdoctoral residents at NBI's APICC approved training program. Dr. Moritz together with Dr. Hoffman leads the NBI team addressing intensive outpatient treatment and the NBI Ranch, a residential supportive living experience for patients undergoing treatment at NBI.
