CurrentRecruited from Toronto to lead DCT’s Business Intelligence Section in May of 2017. As a manager of the section, I am responsible for leading the development and implementation of DCT’s internal dashboards, establishing data collection/validation processes, providing critical research as well as increasing the team’s analytical and research capabilities. Currently leading a team of 8 professionals across there units. Key Achievements * Successful delivery of 2021 tourism analytics forum: Led the planning and delivery of the 2nd edition of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Data & Analytics Forum (ADTDAF) 2021, which took place on Mar 28, 2021. Responsible for carefully curating world class content for eight virtual session; managing speakers, coordinating the marketing of the forum across social media platforms, and delivering post event report. * Certificate of recognition for market intelligence contribution during pandemic: Drove the effective response to the immediate demands for data, analytics and research, which emerged from the spread of COVID-19 by implementing tailored reports and primary research to support our internal stakeholders navigate the uncertainties of the pandemic. * Implementation of a turn-key solution for survey management: The platform centralizes all internal survey requirements and automatically tracks all requests while ensuring the timely roll out and completion of each survey, maximizing cost-savings opportunities. * Successful execution of the internal dashboard hub: BI’s dashboard platform currently consists of over 150 individual pages allowing internal users to access all available data at various levels of granularity. Exponentially increased the reporting capabilities of the BI department: Reports now published by the BI department have increased exponentially from just three periodical reports in 2017 to over 20 different publications delivered daily, monthly, quarterly and annually.
