As Senior Development Manager, I manage all phases of real estate development projects from pre-development through construction completion. Projects include new construction and existing building renovation of mixed-use, affordable and market rate residential, commercial, and repositioning industrial properties.

As a Sustainability Specialist, I assist clients with their energy and sustainability needs through leading sustainability planning efforts, developing Climate Action and Sustainability Plans, conducting greenhouse gas inventories, benchmarking environmental performance, and executing Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) certification process on numerous new construction and existing building projects for clients in the governmental, aviation, higher education, and corporate sectors. I manage projects from proposal through close-out including development and oversight of budget, staff, and schedule. My management responsibilities as a Group Leader include assisting staff to maintain workload, promoting a collaborative environment, liaisoning with senior management, and encouraging team member's career development.

As a Project Manager for sustainable design, I implemented integrative green design processes on development projects ranging from $67 million new construction projects to small tenant fit-outs. I developed sustainable development goals and action steps for design and construction teams; researched and recommended building systems, materials, policies, and programs; and reviewed design drawings, specifications, and submittals for consistency with sustainability goals. I worked closely with our in-house energy modeling team to apply modeling techniques and provide clients with cost analyses that included development and operational aspects. I managed dozens of LEED registered and certified building projects and initiatives.

As Senior Project Manager, I managed all phases of real estate development projects from pipeline and pre-development through operations including, but not limited to, environmental and financial due diligence, proposal development, creating and managing budgets, negotiating and managing contracts, initiating and maintaining stakeholder relationships, facilitating community processes, and post-development asset management. My responsibilities involved working with a variety of stakeholders such as elected officials, state and local government staff, investors, and community residents to address planning and development issues and regularly facilitating neighborhood planning initiatives in collaboration with organizational and municipal staff. I managed multiple projects concurrently including the corporation’s first LEED certified mixed-use project, which was designed using an integrative design process.
