Katie has several hobbies including PC gaming, reading, and learning new coding languages. They spend several hours a day reading for entertainment and keeping their dogs in check while they are playing. They have always been interested in how car and computer components operate. They constantly get in trouble for taking different electronic devices apart. During their Junior year, Katie was given the opportunity to help a new business become more productive during their software internship. Katie enjoyed their time by learning how to perfect some of their coding skills over the summer with their internship. They were able to challenge themself and continue learning during the experience. Katie was a part of many school organizations in high school that allowed them to be a leader and gain many meaningful communication skills. Going to Texas Tech University has allowed Katie to delve deeper into their interest in Computer Science and Software. Katie looks forward to gaining any and all knowledge available to them.
