Katie Basham serves as the director of capacity and civic infrastructure at Partner for Rural Impact. She has nearly 15 years of experience in higher education, where her various roles focused on interfaith cooperation, civic engagement, diversity and inclusion, and program development. Over the past several years, she has provided leadership for rural initiatives focused on accelerating educational outcomes for rural communities, bringing together national and regional organizations with rural community leaders to develop and implement plans to improve educational outcomes at the local level. Through her work with national organizations, Basham leverages national networks and resources to support locally-led collective impact efforts in rural communities across the country. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Berea College and a master’s degree from the Lexington Theological Seminary.
