As Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Fidelity Investments, Katie Fallon is leading the company's high-performing government relations, public affairs, community relations and communications teams in support of Fidelity's mission to strengthen and secure the financial wellbeing of its clients. Fidelity was founded in 1946 and is one of the world’s largest diversified providers of financial services, providing investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and many other financial products and services to more than 40 million individuals and institutions, as well as through 13,500 financial intermediary firms. Katie brings a wealth of leadership experience in helping people and organizations take a values-based approach to achieving their objectives. Prior to joining Fidelity, Katie served as EVP, Chief Global Impact Officer at McDonald's, where she led the integration of resources across government relations, communications, sustainability and philanthropy. Prior to McDonald's Katie was EVP Global Corporate Affairs for Hilton.She began her career in public policy and spent more than a decade at the highest levels of the U.S. government. Katie served as Deputy Staff Direct of the Joint Economic Committee of Congress, Legislative Director to Senator Chuck Schumer, and Staff Director of the DPCC in the Senate. Katie was Senior Advisor and Director of Legislative Affairs for President Barack Obama, and she also served as Deputy Communications Director at the White House. Katie is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned two masters degrees in the United Kingdom as a Marshall Scholar. She served on the Board of Directors of Annaly Capital Management (NLY) before joining Fidelity and currently serves on the SIFMA board and nonprofit boards of the International Youth Foundation and The Center for Employment Opportunities.
