Offers support and services to probation officers in a wide range of areas, including supervision of persons on probation and preparation of investigative reports. Involved in supervising high-risk offenders under the direction of a probation officer to include community activities, recreation, home, education, and treatment.

Rapid Re-Housing program provides services in the form of temporary financial assistance and support services to individuals and families who are experiencing homeless. The Case Manager will work to identify, screen, and serve eligible clients through the various RRH Programs as well as provide case coverage for various RRH programs as needed due to staff turnover, staff temporary leave, etc.Intensive case management responsibilities begin at this level. Decision making, problem solving, and highly developed interpersonal skills are critical. This position requires high level of social work skills, practice and knowledge.

As a specialist, I am responsible for supervising, supporting, and guiding foster parents who have children in placement who have emotional and behavioral problems. This includes meeting with foster parents on a weekly basis, developing treatment plans, writing social histories, and attending court hearings.

Resources included housing authority andassistant programs; HHS benefits; social security benefits; community support programs; outpatient providers to assist in the client's stabilization; and researching treatment centers for those struggling with chemical dependency. Many of these resources take a referral for these individuals to begin the process of receiving benefits.
