I give my time where I can to help out the family business, where I cut keys and place orders. I gained excellent customer service skills by giving helpful advice to our customers.

Had the opportunity to do a 6 month work experience with DB3. Where I learned key skills in my gap year which I was then able to take into my degree at university. I wanted to experience work in firm before committing to my degree so I could get some basic knowledge about the job.

I worked as kitchen assistant on Saturdays where I gained the key skills of organisation and handling food. In addition, I waitressed; strengthening my communication skills in both English and Welsh, and built my confidence further, while also being trusted to handle money.

I waitressed in a local pub on weekends, taking orders, serving customers and clearing tables. This job allowed me to gain confidence while dealing with customers. I also developed my communication and teamwork skills while working in a fast pace and busy environment.
