Ensured individuals were clear on their accountability by creating a TOR. Monitored progress against plan, ensured risks and issues were being mitigated with SMART action plans. Ran a weekly review meeting for each project with the project team to assess performance. • Carried out recruitment activities, consisting of CV review, CBI interviews and assessment of candidates across all roles. This ensured a high quality team and the ability to create a good succession plan.• Delivered the on-shoring of the Credit Services development team by recruiting good quality developers and executing on a transition plan once the new team were in place. Involved multiple visits to Japanese data centre, working through translators to train Japanese staff on the operation of the new mainframe. • Ensured sufficient capacity was available to run Experian’s computer systems. Ran meetings with business teams to understand projected forecasts of workloads, translated this in to technical resource requirement to ensure capacity was procured from vendors in a timely manner. • Ensured mainframe environment was compliant and in line with client SLA’s by creating a schedule of software upgrades to ensure software was kept up to a supported level. Team members were allocated to perform the software upgrades at the appropriate time.• Successfully provided 2nd and 3rd level support for any mainframe related incidents by ensuring there was sufficient capacity in the team to allow for this alongside the more predictive project work.• Maintained solid and trusted relationships with multiple mainframe and software vendors by having regular review meetings to review performance of their existing products and review new products and technologies, allowing a robust technology roadmap to be created.
