I am serving as a nursing intern on the general surgery post-operative floor at St. Thomas Mid-Town. I am responsible for assisting post operative patients with their needs and taking care of patients to ensure satisfaction and good quality of care during their stay. I interact with my patients by doing a few things like acquiring vital signs, changing linens, and even just stopping in to have a conversation. I am making the most of this opportunity to better prepare for graduation in December of 2022.
