I spent the first 7 years of my working life in Chile, taking on the roles of English as a Second Language teacher and Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher to both children and adults. I also worked as a translator and interpreter for the salmon farming industry, in the areas of law, finance and science. It was a very interesting period.After returning to Australia I began my Masters in Spanish linguistics part time while working as a tutor in Spanish and Latin American Studies at Monash University. For 10 years I taught language and cultural studies to beginner and advanced undergraduate students and some units of translation studies to postgraduates. It was great working with a group of inspired and talented colleagues.After discovering my abilities helping coordinate courses at Monash I decided to work in administration full time. I obtained a position at Norwood this year and am enjoying participating in the running of a busy secondary college.
