As a structural analyst, I helped review the structural integrity of engineering designs through a variety of analysis methods. I always employed critical thinking skills and made use of a variety of tools at my disposal, such as excel and FEA processors.

My team helped design a 16-ft prototype of semi-autonomous boat that cleans plastic out of the ocean. I practiced extensive engineering design and research on mechanical parts, including the conveyor belt system.

As an assistant to a consultant, I helped prepare topic briefs by researching and summarizing scholarly articles related to environmental issues. The main topic I focused on was groundwater water issues.

As part of the structures subteam in this student organization, I helped design structural rocket components in Solidworks. I also used the software to conduct static finite element analysis to ensure structural integrity.
