I was born in the UK and grew up Hull 🇬🇧- a city on the east coast filled with martine history 🐟 and a famous bridge . I completed my education at the local university (University Of Hull) 👩🏻‍🎓and practiced as a RGCN (children’s nurse) 🏥👩🏻‍⚕️for 10 years before having the courage to move to Denmark with my family for my husbands career. Due to my speciality in studying children’s nursing the education did not match the Danish healthcare requirements to practice as a nurse here in DK.Disappointed as I was I also saw this as an opportunity to try something new.Currently in Denmark my job is to support 2 key main customers to meet their needs when purchasing spare parts for their wind turbines. A former nurse whose passion is to support people and help empower people - the job enabled me to transfer a lot of my valuable skills which I am grateful for and not surprisingly my favourite part of my job is to meet people/customers face to face, build up positive relationships, discuss pain points and find solutions - to ensure my customers can keep their turbines up and running - 🔩🔧New to the wind industry I have grown my knowledge base and continue to do so, although my personal passion lies to promote health and wellbeing, through health promotion, evidenced based practice and knowledge.I have achieved many things while moving to another country including learning Danish, 🇩🇰which is a continuous learning process for me, adapting to new cultures and working environments and the fun it is to learn about all the new food stores and shopping on the area 🥰I have worked hard and proud to say I received a promotion within my team, and was recently nominated to attend the Vestas Lean academy in Hamburg, which I was so humbled to do -this gave me an amazing opportunity to network and grow within my role.When I’m not at work, or socialising, I love to listen to motivational podcasts, practicing positivity, and daily affirmations, exercise and run, and mentor my 2 favourite littlest people my 9 daughter and 6 year old son.
