Established in 2006, our operation currently consists of corn, soybeans, hay, and feed. We have a commercial beef cow/calf operation, a feedlot and a feeder-to-finish swine confinement site. I co-manage business operations and decisions as well as employees. I run equipment, feed livestock, and make purchasing and marketing decisions.

Responsible for sales of commercial beef cattle and swine feed, product, and in southeast Iowa. Worked with Business Development Managers for swine integrators and growers to find and organize spaces and feed for pigs. Developed and negotiated contracts and worked with both contractor and customer on large-scale and long-term contracts. Supported and guided customers through details of swine confinement barn development and grower contracts from permitting to construction and contract negotiation with key players. Organized and executed promotional programs to increase sales year over year. Top 10 sales growth in the nation 2019, earning the award of Summit Club. Built relationships with producers and made recommendations of product and practices for improving livestock production.

Under the direction of leadership, managed broad and targeted marketing projects to increase customer understanding of key values and features. Helped coordinate the distribution of and training on a new electronic sales tool to the field. Created and distributed marketing materials. Educated the customer on key features and benefits and comparing lighting manufacturers and lighting projects.
