Katie serves as TechNet’s Executive Director for Florida and the Southeast Region. Kelly oversees TechNet’s state advocacy in the Southeast which, in addition to Florida, includes Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee.Prior to joining TechNet, Kelly worked at Manson, Bolves, Donaldson and Tanner as a Government Affairs Specialist, based in the firm’s Tallahassee office. A graduate of Florida State University, Kelly has nearly 20 years of experience in Florida politics, advising members of the House and Senate on policy issues related to economic development, electric generation and transmission, environmental regulation, property insurance, healthcare, technology and manufacturing.Kelly’s state government experience also extends to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection where she served as deputy legislative affairs director and deputy chief of staff. Additionally, she has worked at three of Florida’s five water management districts as a local, state and federal government liaison.
