Atomic Apparel as a startup project, allowed a broad scope of exposure and learning. Working directly with the Head of Product and Designer, I managed the entire Development process, creating a smooth transition to production readiness.• Create and bring highly technical designs to execution for 30+ styles per season. Ensure adherence to production standards and construction needs, while maintaining design aesthetic direction and key functional details. • Create and manage seasonal calendar for all departments to meet required deadlines throughout the design, development and production process • Globally travel to Austria, Germany and France for sales, market and team meetings; attended ISPO Munich 2015 • BOM creation and management – working within a specialized online product creation platform • Analyze costs and negotiate with factories to successfully reach target margins for products• Ensure all raw materials and garments are lab tested to meet Amer Sports stringent standards • Oversee material purchasing for samples and production, managing the budget and leftover inventory • Fit engineer each garment to meet the market needs. Working directly with patterns, and pattern makers overseas, created Atomics base fit and construction methods• Collaborate with VP of Sourcing to allocate the product line to multiple factories• Lead all factory communication (China, Bangladesh, and Indonesia)• Work hands on with vendors traveling to Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Indonesia • Develop and manage all raw materials, trims, and lab dips for the product lines• Streamline the design processes and procedures while maintaining final design aesthetics, fit and target margins
