As a Control Systems Engineer, immersed in the electrical and control design of complex offshore and subsea equipment, optimising systems to ensure they run safely and efficiently, no matter the challenge.I've been involved in a variety of projects that have pushed me to develop innovative and reliable solutions for the offshore and subsea industry. During my time overseas, working within a multidisciplinary team. My responsibility was to commission PLC software while also working closely with the electrical engineers. I have also conducted Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for various projects, demonstrating PLC and HMI functionality. I ensured each system met all required specifications and performed optimally in real-world conditions. Currently, I'm an ICA (Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Engineer, focusing on developing technical solutions for various types of facilities and projects within the UK Water Sector. My daily responsibilities involve designing technical specifications, instrument schedules, control philosophies, network architecture drawings and user requirement specifications. These deliverables support concept design, detailed design leading onto construction support. Understanding the requirements in relation to installations relating to DSEAR, electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres and CDM Regulations. I thrive in challenging environments, where I can put my problem-solving skills and attention to detail to good use. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects meet industry standards and client specifications.
