Managing the recruitment process a whilst also responsible for training new recruits and answering queries from those interested in volunteering with us. Responsible for engagement, policy and volunteer documentation amendments, as well as awareness raising. Responsible for creating volunteer opportunities across the organisation, in the face of an ever changing landscape of how people want to volunteer and contribute their time, passion and energy. Previously worked as a Local Coordinator on the Moving on Project - Responsible for the delivery of the local service in my geographic area of responsibility, supporting survivors of modern slavery, exploitation and trafficking. Overseeing and completing casework, co-production of group sessions. Trained and competent as a First Responder supporting adult survivors. Additionally sitting on and participating in the equality, diversity and inclusion working group of Medaille Trust. With a 17 year history of working in the non-profit and public sectors. With previous roles held in a national charity overseeing the service delivery in my geographic area of responsibility. We supported individuals who were homeless, vulnerably housed and those experiencing poverty, from diverse communities.
