Katie Hayes is an architectural designer. She has won multiple design competitions, and is working towards gaining architecture licensure. Her previous work experience includes working at an architecture/engineering firm (NYC), non-profit architecture/ urban planning firm (Long Beach,CA), and a design/ interiors firm (NYC). Her goal is to create research-based design resulting in sustainable, inclusive and equitable environments. At her current firm, she is an active member of the Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce as well as the Licensure Committee. She has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California and is interested in design technology, planning, and social justice. As a student, she served as the President of multiple organizations including the American Institute of Architecture Students and Habitat for Humanity.
