Currently managing a caseload including patients of diverse neurological conditions including brain injuries, cerebrovascular accidents and spinal cord injuries as well as patient's with progressive diseases such as Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Additional patient populations in which I currently treat include various vestibular diagnosis and post-concussion syndrome.

While in my third rotation, I worked on the brain injury unit, evaluting and treating patients with both traumatic and acquired brain injuries including cerebrovascular accident, anoxic injuries, brain tumors and multi-trauma injuries. I have also had experience working with patients with Disorders of Consciousness. I completed a clinical project that adapted the Modified Multiple Errands Test for use on the Brain Injury unit and completed a research project regarding dual task training as an intervention for patients post brain injury.

During my second clinical experience, I worked with a variety of patient populations in a hospital based outpatient, multi-system clinic. I was responsible for 75% of a full PT's caseload including patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, cerebrovascular accident, spinal cord injury and brain injury. I also worked with amputees and was able to observe evaluations and treatments for vestibular rehab and phrenic nerve dysfunction. Additionally, I participated in weekly Rock Steady Boxing classes and presented an In-service presentation on, "Gait Training for Amputees Utilizing Biofeedback Technologies."

During my first clinical experience, I worked with a range of patients with cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurologic and psychiatric diagnoses. I participated in weekly rounds on telemetry/stepdown units and med-surge units and co-treated with OT. I also participated in an in-service presentation on "Improving PT Services in Acute Care for Patients with Dementia."

As a Graduate Assistant for the Physical Therapy Program, I work as a tutor for first year students, help professors prepare lab materials, organize and manage open labs and represent our program at Open House and other events.

As a Blue Crew member, I take prospective students and families on tours of the University campus as well as work in the main office performing management and organizational duties.

As a student ambassador for the PT dual degree program, I meet with prospective students and families to discuss the program criteria and to offer a current student's perspective. I also email with students to answer any questions about Seton Hall or the PT program and act as a mentor for younger students.

Instructor for the Company/Apprentice level and Intermediate Advanced level during the Providence Creek Ballet Theater Summer Intensive. Styles taught included ballet technique, pointe technique, variations, jazz, dance team pom and contemporary. Choreography was used in the end of the summer performance. Also helped with management and organization during the end of the year recital by teaching warm up classes and supervising dressing rooms.

Taught Zumba classes at Seton Hall University's fitness center bi weekly.

As a summer job, I tutored a family which included three boys who were going into the 6th, 8th and 9th grade. Tutoring subjects included English and Writing, Mathematics, Science and more specifically Algebra 2 and General Chemistry for the eldest.

Taught Zumba classes bi weekly at the local gym.

Shadowed the Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy assistants at the main hospital as well as the outpatient center for 50+ hours. Helped during the "Move and Grove" therapy sessions which were held twice daily for patients who were currently in the hospital after their knee and hip replacements.
