Registered Nurse since February of 2009. Became an Operations Manager for the Inpatient Services unit at Monroe Clinic in May 2011. Obtained Master's of Science in Nursing degree with a Health Care Administration focus in August 2013. Master's Practicum project included the development of a Patient Safety Track for Monroe Clinic's Nursing Professional Development Program. Became a member of the American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety in June 2013, completed the National Patient Safety Foundation's Online Patient Safety Curriculum in July 2013, and obtained National Certification as a Certified Professional in Patient Safety in December 2014. Transitioned to an Operations Manager for two branch Primary Care clinics in December 2015 through December 2019. Clinical project lead for a new medical office building that opened in January 2019. Additional training in Lean Fundamentals, Team-Based Care, Integrated Care Team Model, & Telehealth. Advanced to Director of Primary Care in December of 2019. Recently obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Healthcare Leadership focus, through Chamberlian University.
