I have been in the insurance industry since 2011. I started as an Account Coordinator in the large group market on the carrier side with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City handling the benefits and service administration for over 50 accounts. I moved over to the broker side in 2015 when I joined Watko Benefit Group as an Account Manager. As an Account Manager with Watko Benefit Group, I assist our clients with administering their benefit plans. I'm responsible for implementing new client launches including carrier involvement, employee communication, day-to-day service, and evaluating market alternatives.  While our focus is helping small to medium sized employers with selecting the best vendor to administer and service their group health program, we also assist with health savings accounts, group life, disability, vision care, dental and voluntary benefits.Some other areas of expertise include: Direct Primary Care, Year-round benefit education, Benefit Administration and enrollment services, Self-funding, Cost-Containment Strategies, and Care Coordination.I have a passion for problem solving, building relationships with my clients, and helping others. It's important to me to understand their objectives so I can assist them in obtaining their goals. I continue to remain current on industry trends, which allows me to offer a creative and innovative suite of solutions to our clients.I feel fortunate to work with a great group of individuals at Watko Benefit Group.
