• Developed this project from conception and funding appeals to analysing and writing the results. The aim of the research was to understand how women’s NGOs are resisting the Chechen government domestically and internationally after the government has expelled human rights workers and imposed harmful gendered policies in the republic.• Researched using qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews with NGOs and activists, and discourse analysis of UN documents, European Court of Human Rights cases and elite statements. Utilised creative problem-solving skills to overcome various theoretical and practical hurdles to carrying out the research and finding interview leads while managing the project. Participated in a training course for researching and working with vulnerable groups, facilitated by Wave Trauma Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland.• Developed extensive qualitative research skills and problem-solving abilities while managing this research. These findings have been accepted to present at international conferences and the thesis is currently under review for publication as a book. Also, possess extensive quantitative training in survey design and SPSS.

• Worked with a company in Colombia to investigate the viability of their business growth into textile recycling. The research includes a mixed methods approach, including analysis of government policy documents and international agreements, survey design and data analysis of household recycling behaviours, as well as elite interviews with industry leaders and government officials.• Consulted with the client and different stakeholders to produce a project initiation document after several negotiations and primary research investigations. This report included a risk log, project breakdown structure, workstreams, smart goals, and stakeholder analysis. Finally, this was then presented to the client using PowerPoint. Continued to update the client on the team’s research progress throughout the delivery stage. Developed skills in PRINCE2 project management and consultancy through this work.• Produced a research report and business report for the client outlining the findings and recommendations. Teamwork and collaboration were essential to this research, as well as client engagement and commercial awareness of their business growth opportunities.

As a Telephone Outreach Representative, I contacted potential donors and motivated them to make a pledge to Mills College as part of their yearly fundraising campaign. Once a pledge was secured it was then my responsibility to record their credit card information into the Smart Call program. Often it was also my responsibility to administer and record surveys and update personal information.
