I provided direct support to the Vice President and Managers of an upstream research team. This team consisted of subject matter experts in Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, and Engineering. I successfully tracked the G&A and Capital budgets for the department and regularly communicated adjustments to the planning and accounting teams.Along with budget tracking, I also set-up departmental projects, coded and submitted invoices for processing, prepared expense reports for the entire department (75 employees), developed presentations for quarterly town hall meetings, was the administrator for a web-based project tracking system, set-up meetings and events, ordered supplies and maintained supply inventory, and was the front line contact for vendors and guests. I supported the Geology team by assisting in the coordination of core moves from an external storage facility to an on-site viewing facility. I also inventoried thin sections, scanned thin section images using a scanning microscope, and assisted Geologists with digitizing core descriptions.

I was responsible for certifying nearly 500 student athletes’ academic eligibility. I collaborated with coaches, athletic director, registrar, and academic advisors to ensure student athletes were prepared academically in order to represent UCO in their respective sports.

I reviewed domestic and international courses, determining equivalency to UCO courses. I recorded equivalency data in Banner. I coordinated with academic advisors and faculty to determine the validity and transferability of major coursework.The Oklahoma Course Equivalency Project was a major initiative I supported. The project allows prospective transfer students to review course equivalencies from various state institutions prior to applying to a new school.

I worked with all Undergraduate Business/Computer Science and Master of Science in Accounting students regarding course selection, degree progression, and career opportunities.I assisted with various classes and programming, which included; Freshman Business Connection, etiquette training, Hall of Honor, and Honors Convocation.

I provided front line support for the Office of Student Services. I maintained a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for students, parents, and other visitors.
