As an engineer and project lead at Osbit, I lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers to deliver innovative and bespoke solutions for the offshore renewable energy sector. Additional to the engineering part of the role I manage client communications, project schedules, budgets, and I am responsible for ensuring the safety of my team. I have recently lead the build, installation, and commissioning of the largest monopile upending hinge in the world, a challenging and rewarding project for which I was based in Singapore and Rotterdam. I am also an active member of the Venterra Group ESG Committee and the Lead of Osbit's STEM Program, reflecting my passion for sustainability and encouraging young people into STEM. My current STEM focus is engaging with Universities, running Dissertation courses and setting up Degree Apprenticeships to encourage more talented graduates to join the Osbit team.I hold a first class BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University and was awarded the Young Employee of the Year 2023 by Rotary International.
