In this role as Recruitment Coordinator my key accountabilities involve coordinating the recruitment process from pre-screening through interviewing to hiring and after placement follow-up documentation. I also assist with monitoring and supporting the Recruiters in ensuring all ISO policies and procedures, applicant flow chart as well as company best practices are met. I further act as a partner to Recruiters, Keystone members, Management, and Executrade as a whole!

Based in rural Kenya, I was responsible for the coordination of both the Conservation Program and Communication strategies of this locally run not-for-profit. I was involved in all levels in: fund development and event planning, leading and managing donor relationships, overseeing project implementation and conducting evaluations, regular reporting, research projects, grant applications, staff mentoring and capacity building, and general administration.

Selected as an intern to participate in a placement in rural Kenya, I was responsible for all executive personal assistant duties to the Director of an internationally awarded tourism lodge and renowned not-for-profit organization. Duties included but were not limited to: marketing and social media, relationship building and maintenance, sales presentations and trips, program development and management, report and collateral creation, communication and data entry.

Assisted with the completion of two tourism-related research projects affiliated with the Vancouver Island University Tourism Management Program Ghana Field School. These studies included an analysis of the Resident's Perceptions of the Benefits and Sacrifices of the Wechiau Community Hippo Santuary, as well as a cost-benefit analysis of the Organic Shea Nut Cooperative in the Wechiau Community Hippo Sanctuary.

For this position within my University programs’ club, I was responsible for recording meeting minutes, sending out weekly email updates to members and faculty. Further, I was actively involved in the planning and organization of club events and professional development opportunities for students in the Faulty of Management.
