With a background as a clinical medical assistant, patient care technician, and chief medical scribe, I have developed a passion for streamlining continuity of care in community health while nurturing an enduring interest in academic medicine. My diverse experience in direct patient care, research, team collaboration, care coordination, and leadership has equipped me with a well-rounded skill set that I utilize as the Undergraduate Co-Director at C.D. Doyle, a student-run clinic. In this advisory role, I oversee quality initiatives to enhance the undergraduate volunteer experience and improve patient health outcomes. Additionally, as a medical assistant preceptor, I provide hands-on training and mentorship to onboard medical assistants, ensuring adherence to the best clinical practices.Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and statistical data analyses, I leverage these skills to enhance clinical operations and support data-driven decision-making.
