Supported senior researchers on topics related to poverty, health and nutrition. ● Provided technical research support to IFPRI and the US government for an M&E survey instrument measuring women’s empowerment. Led baseline report whereby created metrics and synthesized results for 13 countries. Analyzed data from two pilot countries to develop a more cost-effective survey. Presented on the survey tool and created presentations for practitioner and stakeholder events. ● Managed and conducted field work for a pre-school feeding program impact evaluation. Built capacity of 10 local staff to conduct focus groups and key informant interviews. Analyzed qualitative data to inform project theory of change, program trainings and survey. Conducted baseline survey using CAPI software. ● Co-authored work exploring gender inequality in land ownership. Calculated five indicators illustrating the gendered distribution of land ownership using world bank data from four Asian countries. Used regression analysis to understand contributing factors in determining individual land ownership.● Conducted qualitative research to formulate best practices for conducting mixed methods gender research, including interviews with staff from five BMGF projects and synthesizing lessons in a research guide. Collaborated with researchers to create a toolkit for conducting gender-disaggregated analyses of climate change impact and adaptation. Co-authored work using cognitive pre-testing as a best practice survey method.

Managed a World Bank funded RCT evaluation administered to 3,700 households in Malawi. Directed over 50 field supervisors, survey enumerators and data entry staff. Trained and managed work tasks of four graduate students. Led data entry and cleaning process. Facilitated communications between local partners and researchers overseas regarding project updates.

- Completed statistical research for the California Border Initiative to determine underserved health areas and make recommendations regarding project expansion

- Worked with small team to design and implement an organizational communications and social media strategy, including launch of new website and logo, development of a strategic communications plan, and creation of core organizational messaging- Managed volunteer project to develop a strategy of how to attract high caliber volunteers which included the creation of web content and volunteer materials

- Tracked and analyzed regulatory correspondence between $1 billion agency and its 5 regulators- Drafted materials for external and internal audiences including policies, letters of support, letters to the state, and articles for community newsletters- Drafted 2009 Report to the Community- Analyzed new $1 billion Medi-Cal contract for significant changes and operational impact
