As the director of development at Harlem Academy, I am responsible for raising $5M+ annually to meet scholarship needs for high-potential students. I completed the school’s inaugural capital campaign, raising $32M allowing the organization to build a 5-story, 30,000 square foot building which will double the number of students served. I manage a team, lead our events, partner with our board, junior board, and other volunteers all to help to increase access to top educational opportunities. Born and raised in New York City, I care about issues facing all New Yorkers and have spent 10+ years in the nonprofit sector working to improve equity and make the world a more just place. In my free time, I’ve organized food justice initiatives and volunteered for political campaigns. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University with a concentration in Urban and Social Policy.
