My work experience within BPP University and BPP Professional Education’s marketing department has allowed me to experience a wide variety of marketing career paths available. To date, my highlights have been: -Working within the Events Team to plan and execute key calendar events, including BPP 2015 Summer Graduation-Experience of using Eloqua to create emails. Creating and changing Html Codes.liaising with suppliers, negotiate costs, and complying with financial procedures, I act as the first point of contact for suppliers and comply with internal finance regulations.-Making changes to the website and social media platforms to improve the customer experience.

My work experience at Shop Direct placed me within both the Buying and Marketing departments covering all areas of fashion and retail. For me the particular highlights were:-Shadowing various roles throughout the departments-Attending both supplier and client meetings and presenting summaries of the discussions back to my colleagues-Undertaking competitor research and learning the importance of differential communication strategies -Gaining organizational experience – organizing, preparing and taking actions from meetingsOverall I found my placement extremely valuable experience of the marketing environment and its place within the wider organization.
