Hello! My name is Katie (short for Kathryn), and I recently graduated with High Honors from the University of Michigan-Flint. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Treatment, and I hope to pursue a graduate degree in the near future.While I was pursuing my undergrad, I also gained a lot of work experience. I've accumulated between 2-3 years of customer service experience in a retail/cafe setting, and I learned that thrive in those fast-paced, task-oriented work environments. I am no stranger to the education environment either; I spent almost a year working as an Instructor at Sylvan Learning, facilitating lessons and daily learning objectives for students ages four to twenty. I also held an Instructional Aide position at UM-Flint, which I performed completely remotely/virtually. During my time as a Research Assistant at UM-Flint, I became acquainted with IBM SPSS software and the Qualtrics survey platform. Throughout the course of my degree completion, I also became proficient in Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Scholar.
