I am a trustee of a small education and sustainability charity which is led by volunteers and four part-time members of staff,I led the implementation of a monitoring and evaluation strategy, I am part of the staffing committee involved in assessing the staffing needs of the organisation and I was a key part of the small team that recruited the Director of the charity and volunteer Treasurer,I am providing advice on the charities fundraising strategy and grant applications,I closely monitor management accounts and budgets at regular board meetings and and review and approve the annual accounts,I am hands-on at the one acre gardens in the park and enjoy gardening with other adult volunteers some of whom have learning disabilities or struggle with mental heath issues.

Supported a team managing grant funding schemes worth £70 million using Flexi-Grant database.Responsible for promoting the impact of grants to public and potential applicants by writing content for webpages, newsletters and case studies, supporting at events and fulfilling reporting requirements.

Managed a portfolio of 20 family foundations including a charitable trust distributing over £2 million in grants each year (grant size varies from £250 to £100,000).Main contact for charities and individuals applying for funding and all successful grantees.I am responsible for all aspects of the grant-making process including supporting trustees to assess applications, organising papers for board meetings, monitoring grant spending, processing donations, keeping accurate database records and I support the trusts' accountants and investment managers.Worked with organisations applying to charitable trusts that support the arts, people with disabilities, medical research, youth development projects, the education sector, conservation charities and individuals throughout the UK.

I was solely responsible for income from trusts, foundations and institutional grants with a target of £2.5 million,I created a pipeline to track income against target and identified new funding opportunities,I worked closely with the operational teams and national and international funders to design and monitor projects investigating and campaigning against environmental crime,I delivered logical framework training to the programme staff and senior management team allowing them to improve the way that they monitored and evaluated the effectiveness of projects with the long-term aim of incorporating logical frameworks into the organisation's future annual strategies.

I was responsible for managing relationships with charitable trusts and extensive reporting about specific projects towards team target of £2 million,I developed, managed and delivered large scale partnerships, highlights include: City Bridge Trust £10,000,000 ten year grant, Grand Charity £250,000 flagship grant and I initiated a relationship with Nominet Trust that led to a £300,000 digital partnership,I recruited and managed three Trust Fundraisers, managed their workload, provided advice and supported their development within the organisation,I was a member of the data task force which drove cultural change around the use of data within the organisation.I also volunteered as a progression mentor working one on one with a disadvantaged young person guiding them towards their goal of employment or training and volunteered on two week-long sail training personal development courses in Scotland.

I was part of the team involved in the integration of Fairbridge and The Prince's Trust whilst they merged in 2011 - my experience listed above describes my responsibilities at both organisations,I successfully kept on board Fairbridge funders who were concerned about the impact their support would have at The Prince's Trust because it was a much larger organisation.

I was the sole fundraiser for this sustainability charity,My responsibilities included creating a fundraising strategy, implementing a database and diversifying income streams,I improving online and written communications so that they better communicated the positive impact the projects had on people and communities, I was part of the Management Team responsible for driving forward the organisation's new business plan.

I was responsible for researching new funding streams for the small team and fundraising from statutory, corporate and trust sources, My successes included developing a new project for a £100,000 Department of Health grant.
