Evaluating and treating preschool and school-age clients in areas including: receptive/expressive language, voice/resonance, fluency, apraxia, articulation/phonology,and AAC.

HealthSouth Rehab Hospital: worked with inpatients and outpatients who had experienced TBI, CVA, and neurodegenerative disease. I evaluated and treated adult and geriatric patients in the areas of dysphagia, voice, motor speech, fluency, language, and cognition. VA Hospital: worked with adult clients with a variety of acquired disorders including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive disorders, voice disorders, and dysphagia. Camp Success: provided large group, small group, and individual treatment to school-age children with a variety of language, literacy, and articulation disorders.Language and Literacy Clinic: provided individual therapy to 5 school-age clients with language, literacy, and pragmatics needs.University Clinic: provided individual therapy to preschool and school-age children with disorders including: apraxia, speech sound disorders, hearing impairment, language delay, AAC. Also worked with audiologist to perform hearing screenings, hearing evaluations, and aural rehabilitation services.

Worked under a tenured professor as a research assistant and teaching assistant for upper level undergraduate classes (Audiology and Speech Science).

Observed and videotaped phonological awareness interventions provided by trained classroom teachers in preschool classrooms throughout the Phoenix metro area; transcribed and scored students' verbal responses to phonological awareness assessments.

Worked in the 4RSUCCESS lab in the Sanford School of Social & Family Dynamics to study peer interactions and communication within elementary school classrooms; implemented a pilot program administered by classroom teachers and examined pre- and post-intervention measures.
