I am a connector. Pure and simple. My superpower is rooted in connecting people with jobs and playing an authentic role in the “assist” for finding “said aspiration.” I believe the veil is very thin between what we do and who we are, and so I take it seriously. My career follows my growth, to a fault, which makes me smile. I started out, focused on early in career talent, and explored that in depth, via Microsoft, Washington Mutual and Apple. As my career progressed, I became intrigued about how to develop and maintain early in career programs, and so I put my hat in the ring for talent management roles. I learned how systematic programs could substantially grow and retain talent, which added to my connection fuel. As I continued to grow, I became interested in the programmatic elements within the broader HR ecosystem and pivoted toward mid-to-senior level populations by taking roles in Business Management and people management at Microsoft. These experiences taught me the importance of scale, communication, nuance, resilience and adaptability. Currently, at Meta, I’ve returned to my roots of talent acquisition, with the benefit of 24 years of wisdom and mentorship from the best out there! I am a researcher of people; interested and dedicated to understanding each story; connected to the reality of this world; and forever fortunate to enable changes that powerfully shape lives.
