In my over 20 years of building and leading advocacy, policy and fundraising campaigns, I’ve consistently earned a reputation as a trusted senior leader who achieves meaningful, lasting results. I thrive in dynamic, mission-driven environments that promote the welfare of others – especially with organizations doing game-changing work in education, healthcare, workforce development, and civic engagement. Whether working with high-growth young organizations or mature entities with ongoing objectives, I enjoy creating and leading teams built on respect and trust, with lots of laughter thrown in.I currently volunteer in my community, primarily helping organizations fundraise by helping them build, execute and measure the effectiveness of advocacy, legislative, communications, and development plans. I’m the person who can start at A, see Z, and fill in the pieces from B to Y. I’m not afraid to make the ask, and I’m achievement-driven and delighted by tangible outcomes – which is how I’ve raised over $2 million in annual campaigns.I believe success is a team effort, not an individual achievement. About Me I grew up on a small farm in stunning Western Montana, just a few miles from the setting of the Dutton Ranch for you Yellowstone fans (It’s really called the Chief Joseph Ranch, and it’s just as gorgeous in person.) Big-city dreams and a passion for politics took me to Washington, DC for most of my adult life. There I worked as an advocacy leader for premier organizations, including the American Hospital Association and Boeing. But you never get Montana out of your system, so in 2018 I decided it was time to head home. To paraphrase John Muir, the mountains were calling, and I went.In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, entertaining, meeting new and old friends, reading (my goal is 45 books annually, which is doable with our looooong winters), hiking, floating rivers, swimming in mountain lakes, and traveling.
