Katie Wainwright is a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition for Pharmavite. Previously she worked as a consultant for EPG Strategy where she sourced, recruited, and hired candidates for the Pharmavite brands.Most recently, Katie was Director, Talent Acquisition at Nasdaq, where she sourced, recruited, and attracted high quality candidates, working through all stages of the recruiting life cycle. Prior to Nasdaq, she worked as a recruiter on executive level roles with companies ranging from start-ups to large global corporations across a variety of sectors, including the Industrial, Technology, Professional Services, Private Equity, and Financial Services industries. Katie spent the first two decades of her career in the publishing industry, before transitioning into executive search where she has specialized in senior management positions including CEOs, Presidents/General Managers, and Vice Presidents of Product Development/Management, Content Strategy, Marketing, PR, Sales, HR, and IT across a wide variety of industries.Katie was a Principal at August Leadership, where she worked on executive level roles with companies ranging from start-ups to large global corporations across a variety of sectors, including the Industrial, Technology, Professional Services, Private Equity, and Financial Services industries. Before that she was a Partner at OceansThree Talent Group, where her areas of focus included educational technology and publishing and various facets of online media. Prior to joining OceansThree, Katie worked in executive search at Blinkhorn Executive Recruiting, Spencer Stuart Associates, and Bert Davis Executive Search.Katie's last role in publishing was as Vice President, Executive Director of Publicity for the Crown division of Random House. She also worked at a number of other publishing houses including Little, Brown, Simon & Schuster, and Hyperion. Katie began her career in the publishing industry immediately after graduating from Middlebury College with a BA in English Literature. She also attended Middlebury’s Breadloaf School of English Masters Program.
