Reported to and received direction from R&D Director and Project Managers as a contract employee. Assisted with design remediation in print comparisons, target substantiations, and dimension substantiations for multiple medical devices. Was responsible for, and successfully completed, dimensional analysis of an entire product line. Work was reviewed and approved for implementation by a team of high level employees. Success in this project was greatly dependent on technical evaluation and communication skills. Was depended on for composing accurate technical rationales for product specifications of an implantable penile prosthesis. Conducted ample amounts of research on the product itself, relevant anatomy, and comparable products in the market in order to construct efficient substantiation documents. Gained a significant understanding of all medical devices designed and produced at the Male Urology and Pelvic Health unit of BSC, including an artificial urinary sphincter and multiple implantable penile prostheses. Toured on-site production floor multiple times to further grasp the mechanics of each medical device. Greatly enhanced skills in CAD analysis, research, technical writing, and analytical communication. Took initiative in interviewing directors from multiple engineering disciplines to further understand the wide realm of work that contributes to the medical device industry.

Assisted PhD student with research on the Blood Brain Barrier. Contributed to group's goal of developing an in-vitro Blood Brain Barrier model for medical testing by preparing, executing, and documenting experiments, researching, and posing constructive questions.
