Hello, I’m a COTA/L licensed in Georgia & Tennessee, who loves, my husband, of 22+ years, & my 3 children, with all my heart, (Blake-26, Fletcher-24, & Kaylee-20). I have been a licensed COTA since 2008, so, approximately 14 years. I presently was laid off from Stellar Therapy Services out of Chattanooga, TN., due to pandemic/lack of work, April 2020.I am blessed to have a wonderful husband, who has always pushed me to “Do what you love, what makes you content, & happy each day, in your job!” Therefore my preference, is to treat patients, in their home, (home health) within their comfort zone! I do prefer, to work with the age bracket, 40, & older, (I always have). Although I have had the occasional adolescent Pt’s., over the years, & they too benefited from my OT care!!!! I’m not your traditional home health COTA licensed therapist, secondary to I prefer/choose not to see more than 6-7 patients a day/PRN, Monday-Friday, so if a patients OT goals need an hour of my time, two days a week, to be met, then that’s what the pt., will get!! My patients will ALWAYS be put 1st, just ask any previous pt., who’s had me as a therapist!!!In closing, “Do unto others what you’d have them do unto you!” We all will need help some day!!!
