I am a dedicated education and care professional with over 16 years of experience in the sector. With a strong background in various roles, including Educational Leadership, Inclusion Support, Management, Consultancy, and Professional Development facilitation, I have completed my Cert 3, Diploma, and am currently finishing my Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management.Primarily, I am a mother to Javier and Sierra and partner to Eddy. I enjoy spending time with my family exploring beaches, parks, and practicing Pilates. I am passionate about keeping up to date with sector changes, so you will often find me listening to podcasts and reading.I am a firm believer in play-based learning and relational pedagogies, rooted in the philosophy that it takes a village to raise a child, and to support them in becoming active members of our community.Currently, I am consulting for a range of outside school hours services as part of Katie Woods OSHC Consulting.To stay in touch with what is going on in the sector, I remain committed to working on the floor in my Pedagogical Leader role in an outside school hours service in the Eastern Suburbs
