As managing partner and noted executive chef, redesigned this upscale Spanish restaurant to an approachable Caribbean style venue. Praised in the Santa Barbara Independent as the flavorful new butterfly of the local restaurant scene.• Redesigned the restaurant’s business model while resolving issues of prior failed restaurant including: policies and procedures, staffing, computer and phone systems, floor layout, menu, and wine list. Brought business to profitability within four months.

As managing partner, redesigned this bar to become what is now considered to be Santa Barbara's most unique and successful upscale lounge.• Redesigned the bar’s business model; planned, and managed the reopening and expansion of this lounge, working with designers, sub-contractors and advertisers to create a dual atmosphere of both lively entertainment and an intimate lounge feel. Hired new staff and implemented new procedures that returned this business to profitability.
