Manage the daily operations of two 100% Virtual Military to Manufacturing SkillBridge training programs in Manufacturing Production/Operations and Logistics. Program oversight includes, but is not limited to, national recruitment, participant enrollment, employment placement, virtual & in-person tour scheduling, data tracking, and analysis for at least eight 9-week cohorts per year. Lead the planning and delivery of the weekly Heroes Connect: Military to Manufacturing virtual events focused on connecting military talent to those manufacturing & supply chain companies who are hiring today. Responsibilities include managing company partnership, coordinate logistics of and leading up to events, moderate each event, and lead targeted social media marketing campaigns reaching various military groups and organizations. Heroes MAKE America is The Manufacturing Institute’s initiative to build connections between the military community and the manufacturing industry. Our signature program, a DoD approved SkillBridge, provides transitioning Service Members, Veterans, National Guard, Reservists and Military Spouses with the skills and certifications to find and excel in manufacturing careers. Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

Facilitated (virtually and in-person) employment preparation, vocational training, and career exploration courses to military service members in the employment process. Topics included transition planning, searching for a high-quality civilian career, resume writing, interview preparation, networking, and salary negotiations. Guided clients in identifying career goals and potential gaps in education, experience or skills, establishing a plan of achieve those goals, and locating resources and programs to assist with gaining additional skills/credentials.Requested to teach executive level courses at various military installations across the country; facilitated quarterly in-person employment courses for the highest ranked enlisted service members (Nominative Command Sergeants Major) joined from across the globe, focusing on preparation for executive level civilian career opportunities. Mentored junior team members on curriculum, delivery of course content, and learning methods geared toward adult learners in a virtual environment.

Fort Irwin, California

Managed the day-to-day operations of 2 Army SFL-TAP offices located in California - Fort Irwin and Presidio of Monterey. Supervised 7 employees including hiring, training, observing daily operations and performance, managing personnel records, time keeping, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary. Frequently utilized and referred to standard operating procedures and Army regulation to troubleshoot operations and unique client situations. Created site best practices while new regulation was implemented in accordance with NDAA '19 congressional changes.

Advised incoming, continuing, and returning students toward required degree plan courses. Students varied across majors & colleges allowing for a broad knowledge base of degree & career path requirements. Practiced holistic advising with an assigned caseload of approximately 275-375 students each semester. Discussed courses, study techniques, financial aid, and any barriers preventing progression in their degree. Assisted in training 8 new full-time academic advisors and 5 student peer advisors regarding institutional & departmental policies/procedure, degree requirements, and facilitating discussions with students.

Collaborated/maintained relationships with key staff members/advisors within the College and at University. Assisted with the 2 week Orientation Leader training; facilitated communication and team building activities. Created an assessment of the Orientation Leader training; compiled and analyzed results for supervisor. Conducted one-on-one performance evaluations of 21 of the 50 Orientation Leaders.

Coordinated the annual editorial revision process of the Off Campus Survival Manual, a guide for students living off campus, utilizing Adobe InDesign with a final product of 10,000 print production.
