Working on the Justice-based Engineering and Data science Initiative (JEDI) project in an Introductory engineering course:Developed a critical understanding of the social, political, and economic dimensions in engineering education and practice. Prepared to lead conversations around social, political, and economic dimensions of engineering with students in an Intro to Computing in Engineering course. Guided instructors in the redesign of engineering lesson plans to highlight justice-focused issues. Gained a better understanding of the social, political, and economic dimensions of practical engineering. Implemented pilot curricula that will push students to critique the assumptions and decisions of existing data sets and technologies that become apparent when situated in real-world contexts.

Instructed students in an introduction to robot construction, event-based programming, artificial intelligence, and elementary controls. Guided students through weekly hands-on projects emphasizing design using LEGO SPIKE Prime kits and a LEGO-based Robotics platform. Taught basic principles of robotics and programming in MicroPython for students with minimal or no prior experience.

Developed R&D testing equipment and methods to support verification of infusion pumps. Performed testing and characterization of a low flow rate sensor to improve delivery accuracy for syringe pumps and R&D testing measurements. Assembled & qualified a backpressure-inducing vessel to challenge fluid delivery accuracy of infusion pumps. Developed a qualification strategy for a 6-axis robot used for accelerated life testing.

Instructed students in programming in Python using Raspberry Pis and Jupyter Notebooks. Guided students through an integrated design challenge, which required extensive mechanical construction, design, and programming on the GoPiGo3 platform. Taught concepts including robotic sensing, movement, machine learning, & Internet of Things (IoT), trouble-shooting and debugging via an engaging remote experience on the Tufts Virtual Campus.

Developed educational material for 3D design using Onshape, a holistic CAD development platform. Collaborated with professors, graduate students, and external vendors to create educational challenges.
