From September 2014 - September 2015, I had the privilege of working for this large nonprofit from their Africa Area corporate offices, located in South Africa. Operation Mobilization (OM) is a multi-faceted nonprofit with an extensive reach into communities all over globe. In this specific role, I stood in as the director of marketing, mainly taking on management for Communications and Marketing for the entire region. OM Africa's goal was to better communicate and portray the work of OM Africa throughout its 14 African fields. This involved creating and implementing OM Africa's marketing plan, establishing and extending its reach via social media platforms, and constructing extensive research into each field's activities--all in order to clarify and leverage the brand messages of OM Africa.

Meant to promote the brand’s image, the Chick-fil-A cows, the project involved a $2000 budget, an 8-week timeline, and the ultimate responsibility of creating a “REMARKable” experience. The day involved many innovative ways to incorporate employee involvement, as well as branded expertise in leveraging the Chick-fil-A brand within the DNA of its internal community.
