Katie Cullen is a Partner and founding member of SC Partners LLC where she provides strategic and legislative consulting services to the firm’s clients before Congress, the White House and Federal Agencies. In addition, her firm provides sophisticated and technical advice to start-up companies on innovative and emerging energy technologies. Since founding SC Partners, Katie has become a leading advocate for clean and renewable energy resources as an engine of innovation, economic development, and job creation. Katie expanded the breadth of her energy and environment policy experience working on issues related to solar, onshore and offshore wind, combined heat and power, waste heat to power, battery storage, ethanol, waste-to-energy, electrochromic glass, transportation, and recycling. Katie has appeared on expert speaker panels at a variety of political and energy industry conferences; she served as a panelist and moderator for industry-related webinars such as, “Explore New Federal Funding Opportunities from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal”, “Hydrogen Fueled Combined Heat and Power Systems”, “Federal Policy Overview for Clean Technologies” and has hosted numerous seminars to explain the “Inflation Reduction Act” that was signed into law in 2022. She has also presented at state-level conferences such as the Smart Energy Initiative of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s 10th Annual Energy Briefing. Prior to founding SC Partners, she served as Vice President for the Integrated Waste Services Association (IWSA), the leading trade group for the waste-to-energy industry. Katie was responsible for directing overall legislative and media strategies for the industry. She also served as Vice President of Public Affairs at the United States Conference of Mayors, the leading nonpartisan organization for the nation’s mayors.Katie began her Washington, DC career as Deputy Director of the House Radio-TV Gallery, where she worked with then junior members of Congress and staff, who are now leading figures in U.S. politics. Katie received her BA from the University of Miami, Coral Gables and studied at the Washington Consortium for American Government in Washington, DC.
