Described as the go-to for all things marketing in a local, conservative credit union, I have had the opportunity to enhance my skill set while discovering my passion. Although I enjoy just about everything there is to marketing, I am truly passionate about brand management, campaign development, and creating a clear vision for the future. My position at SunWest allows me to do everything from graphic design and idea creation to copywriting and content management. I also manage corporate partnerships, event sponsorships, and event planning for the entire credit union. I have taken standard promotions and transformed them into record-breaking campaigns. I have also been called upon to lead in various roles and am known for my innovative ideas and strong desire to implement a more proactive approach to business.

This is the position that ignited my love for business and my passion for marketing. I was fortunate to work under an amazing mentor who taught me the ins and outs of business as well as the difference between managers and leaders. The seven years I worked at Elephant Bar created the foundation for the career I have today. I was able to strengthen my skills as a leader through my role as the lead trainer. I oversaw the training program for my location and managed a team of 8 fellow trainers. Additionally, I was selected to manage the local store marketing program and develop packets that would attract employees at local businesses and ultimately increase guest volume.

I was recommended for the "Social Media Butterfly" internship at Penske Automotive Group by my professor and genuinely enjoyed my time at Penske. I developed a better understanding of social media for business use and had the opportunity to highlight the people behind the global automotive franchise. My role as a social media intern was to manage the Facebook profiles of 24 different dealerships in Arizona as well as the company's career blog. I interviewed Penske employees and shared their inspiring stories with Penske customers. I also visited each of the 24 dealerships weekly and designed social posts to increase engagement and followers.
